Summary by Vickstar: 16 year old Ritsu Ami is an ordinary high schoolgirl if a little cold. Her two friends Kana and Kanda are going out so she doesn't want to get in their way. On her way home from school a gangster-looking boy who jumps out of nowhere and startles her! Despite his looks, Akashi Hirmatsu is very cute and friendly, if a little weird. It turns out that he is the new transfer student who failed to show up that day, it appears that he was lost (all day?), so Ritsu points him in the right direction. He announces that she is now his "Number One Friend". Next day, it transpires that he had transferred schools to just to find Kana, his old school-friend! Why is Ritsu so concerned over this strange guy, the only person to leave such a big impression on her mind?
