I went to lunch with this guy. He talked about himself in front of me about his success, life, career the entire time. My friend who knew him for a long time said he is always like this. Always talk about himself. The good thing was that he paid for the meal.

Men like this should be avoided. They are too self adsorbed. Am I right with this thinking? Or maybe I should give him a chance?

I agree with BlackRose, men like that aren't worth your time. In fact, I've encountered one and already "dropped" him

You don't have to take him in but can always give him a tip that he knows what is wrong with him, such as, " I am more interested in the true you than in your accessories."

You asked maybe because you either somewhat like him or was impressed by him. If you like him and want to give him a chance, give him a chance, no matter what his friends say.

Men who talk aren't neccessary bad. Maybe he was trying to impress you, nervous the 1st date. If he has stuff to brag about is better than a man who has nothing to brag about! heheh!!

Men who don't talk could be troublesome. They either sit home play video games all day, and not even say a word to you, or only talk around his drinking buddy.
