Do you ever use blogs for guidance on finding hotels?

I ran across this hotel blog and wasn't sure what to think.

Should I trust it, or do you recommend any other sites?

Not sure what you mean by hotel tips. Tips as in the condition of the hotel, prices, service or what specification?

If you're looking for hotel reviews you can check out tripadvisor.com They have customer reviews on almost every hotel there is. Those people stayed there and wrote comments about what they think about any aspect of the hotel. I think a blog is just a personal's viewpoint, can't totally trust them, unless it is a blog of an organization or company that has valid credibility.
